Subject: ece test suite

All,

I want to get a representative subset of the 1700-odd positions in the ECE.  I
don't quite know how they're arranged.  It looked to me on a quick glance that
many of the first 100 positions were very similar, so I don't think taking the
first several hundred would be best.  One possibility is using the first 10 out
of each 100, but again I don't know how they're arranged.

Any help would be welcome.
