For those who still are not confinced that for computerchess positonal play is the most important thing in wich they should improve Human grandmasters still are much better in the playing of openings and it already start in the opening with strategie and there are not much tactics here today i played with Rebel10 against Chessmaster6000 and again the fact that Chessmaster doesnt know how to play with good strategical plans he made a draw in a position with bischops with the same colour with a pawn more if you would have chosen in that position to switch sides the game should have been easely won by Rebel 10 Anbd it is that Fritz5 or chessmaster can't talk I am sure there wishes would have been to learn more about positional play with this you can make from a lost game a draw or when you having a winning position you wont come in unclear positions anymore Capablanca also once wrote after a very simple game he played that that just was what made the diference between masters and non masters and that those simple games mostely where much more dificult then the most beautiful piece sacrefice for a stunning kings attack Now many games are played by the programs in wich the score isnt based on good play from one or the otherside but more as a matter of luck
