I like to think it's a world-wide, English language, CC forum. It is derived
from an English CC newsgroup (rgcc), and how is a moderator to work with
langagues which they don't understand? If you say "use Babelfish" or some such,
it is immediately clear that you haven't tried using Babelfish! What a laugh.:)

Of course, if German is OK, then what about French, Italian, Spanish, Russian,
Pashtu, Arabic, Japanese, or Chinese? I'm sure we have some members who would
like to post up in most of these languages, if we're trying to be multi-lingual
on our forum. I'd certainly enjoy a nice long post on the WCCC from Iceland in
their native Iclandic language! What a multi-cultural treat - NOT! :)

For Windows user's it will be a real treat because our systems are not set up to
even display other languages characters, correctly. Nor can we cut and paste
them into Babelfish, and get all the characters, right.

Just think of the fun we'll have, though! :(

Whatever we're doing as a club, we need to be speaking one language to be
effectively communicating. Even if the post is casual, it's more than a little
rude to write for a group in a language very few understand. Save the German,
etc., for private emails.
