I have found similar results. I have run an engine to engine match with Deep Fritz 8 and Deep Junior 9 both soundly defeating Deep Shredder 9.1 to my surprise. It was 100 games of each engine against DS9 at 5 minute settings. The hardware is a dual Opteron 275 which is dual core so = 4 CPU's. I used 128M Hash for each engine, permanent brain turned off and the engines used their own book. I contacted Stefan and he has no idea why DS9 performed so poorly on this machine against those two engines. He did comment that they were very strong engines. I also ran a short 21 game 10 minute match against DF8 where I allocated 256M and reset the books to their original values. DS9 was behind 9 games to 3 at the 21 game mark so I stopped the match.
