This is correct, without a doubt, but it has little relevance in this context. Yes. Of course I lose the overwhelming majority of the games, but I am able to score occasional wins or draws by using standard anti-computer play. This is, by the way, another reason why it might be more difficult to play against programs in hexagonal chess than in normal chess: Because of the way the pawn captures, it is not possible to create closed positions with blocked pawn chains in hexagonal chess.
