In CEGT 1 and 2 we had by the way comparison between Pentium CPU from Christian and my Athlons and pointed out the differences for each engine. But now one showed any interest and so it was dropped. It may be that the Crafty benchmark is not too exact when comparing with Axxon. One favours the AMD CPU´s the other the Pentium. To be too pedantic makes things too complicated and too many discussions and rules decrease the fun testers are having. There will be a lot of comparisons done by Kirill whenever he has the time to do so. He is fairly new and already added enormous efforts and good things like comparison Bayesian ELO and EloStat or the very useful table showing performance and number of games for each match, as well as download per engine and day. We can expect more from him in the future, but he is a busy man like most of the CEGT testers. Best Regards Heinz http://kd.lab.nig.ac.jp/chess/cegt/ http://www.husvankempen.de/nunn/
