What is your handle on the playchess server ? Maybe we could observe your games and give some views as to whether your results are simply that you are playing more powerful PC's which are outsearching you, or something else ? I play on playchess with Fritz 9, Fruit 2.2 etc but as I do not have fast hardware, I check out the opponent's hardware first before accepting a challenge, to try to get a match to make a more evengame. I am doing quite well on this basis with Fritz 9 (around 2500 most of the time.) However, my Fritz 9 will lose to Fritz5, 6 or 7 every time if my Intel Celeron 2GHz is facing an AMD 3700x2 !!! Playchess is not a place to judge engines - it is a battle of harware supremacy!! Mark
