I've checked and found that Shredder 3 does indeed have its own book that I didn't know about. It is on the CD but not installed - rather a waste I would say. It's small compared to the Genius book (4 Mb compared to 64 Mb) but it may well be a more appropriate size/quality. At first glance it looks as if you can not have each engine with a different opening book - you can only have a single book loaded - a pity. Steve Maughan
