actually the hardware is better in the Champion but the program in the SC9 is
improved over the Champion

each had a 6502 processor


the Champion was  faster with 2 Mhz against 1.6 for the SC9

 each also had  2KB Ram  but only  16 KB ROM for SC9 and 28KB for the Champion


but the programs are not the same with the SC9 50 Elo higher

also the SC9 could take add-on modules such as the CB9 and CB16 Book modules
