I would be concerned if Yermolinsky did NOT have access to Hiarcs7.

If he did not have access, he would have an extremely difficult time for 2
reasons.

1) WChess won +4=2-0 against the 6 GMs in the 94 Harvard Cup. This was 4 1/2
years ago. The programs are MUCH stronger now (although Yermolinsky is only
somewhat stronger, rating wise). Granted, the time for that tournament was G25,
however, Yermolinsky was at that time the lowest rated GM in that tournament and
each program at that tournament won anywhere from 1 to 4 games against the 6 GMs
(with the exception of Hiarcs3 which went +0=4-2).

2) Yermo's games are an open book for Matt and Hiarcs7. Hiarcs7's are not (not
really, there are several Hiarc7 games against other computers around, but very
few against GMs and those are the type of games that Yermo would be most
interested in).

If Yermo did not have access to Hiarcs7 (or at least it's games), then if
Hiarcs7 won, nobody would know whether it was due to Alex being unfamiliar with
Hiarcs7's anti-GM style or due to Hiarcs7 truly playing at GM level strength.

However, with Matt having a lot of time to prepare Hiarcs7 and Alex having a lot
of time to prepare against Hiarcs7, it will probably be one of the most
interesting program/GM matches in the last few years IMO.
