I haven't been following this whole thing that closely, has it been revealed what sort of performance incentive Yermo is on? Obviously, if he is being paid for each half point he scores, then he will be trying to maximise his overall score. This would be good from an experimental standpoint. Of course there will still be an overriding 'pride factor', which means that Yermo will not want to do anything silly to risk losing the match. But 'point money' would still be a good thing I think. cheers, Peter
