Run the same position you did above, (8/2k5/8/3R4/8/8/5K2/8 w - - 0 1), move Kf3, analyze for a few seconds. Now back up to the start position without clearing hash and reanalyze, for me it isn't finding the mate and taking quite a long time to reach the next few ply. Any idea what is going on? Thanks.
