I would recommend version c. Altough it has less position knowledge, as Ed
said, the increase in ply depth pays up for it (in my humble opinion and tested
with only a couple of dozen positions).

What I also noticed is that version c with tiger off is slower in ply depth that
version b, and I'm wondering what the reason is as there is less knowledge
inplemented, maybe it extends more? Maybe Ed would be so kind to shine some
light on this.

To make it easy to switch between version b and c, you can do the following:

- install version b
- copy rebel.exe and rebel.trl to a new sub directory ie. \rebel10\b
- install version c
- copy rebel.exe and rebel.trl to a new sub directory ie. \rebel10\c
- now by copying directory b or c in your rebel10 directory, you can easily
switch between the two versions.

Kind regards, Ernst-J.
