Hi Cristian, Thanks for asking. I have no objections against the use of my UCI code (or any other not directly chess-related parts of my code) in other chess engines. Feel free to use it in any way you want; I won't even ask you to observe the GNU Public License. I am not sure I would recommend using my UCI code without changes, though. In particular, my way of handling UCI engine options is really stupid and inflexible, and doesn't work well if you plan to include handful of UCI options. This has been improved in the upcoming Glaurung 0.3.0. If you are interested, I can send you the new UCI code. Good luck with your engine! Tord
