1. Rybka is amazing. I can honestly tell you that just by watching this engine play I get better at chess. It's the most human-like engine I've ever seen. 2. I think we all need to send Stefan a big bouquet of flowers this Christmas. If someone had told me a year ago that Shredder (#1 by 50-60 elo at the time) would have fallen to 6th place on the rating list (behind Fritz, Fruit, Rybka, Toga, and Zappa) I would have laughed in his face. 3. Ditto for Vincent, who has always prided himself on Diep's positional play. Unfortunately for him an engine has come along that has great positional knowledge but also gets 16 ply and doesn't have as many bugs. anthony
