(Interestingly, child "geniuses" normally occur in areas like math, music, chess, etc.) There's even a book called "Godel, Escher, Bach" by Hofstadter that I think touches on some of this, although I haven't read it yet. Another connection I've noticed is between computer science types and the martial arts. I admit I'm generalizing from a very small sample size, though--myself, my brother-in-law, and some old college friends :) Michael
