Actually, Michael, I have a high regard for CM6000. The relative costs of CM6000 and Fritz 5.32 don't concern me much; I bought BOTH of them months ago. And while I believe that Fritz has some advantages in its features, it has been obvious to me for a long time that CM6000 has just as much playing strength. I was not surprised in the least to see it at the top of the SSDF list. In fact, given some of the computer tourney results I've seen the last few months, I can't believe ANYONE was much surprised by its SSDF result. CM6000 , like CM5500, has been proving itself for a long time.
