Subject: 1/0 is it harmful for your game

Hi,
  I have read and heard numerous times that blitz is bad for your game.
I have never felt that this was true and always thought it could only help it,
especially for tactics.

What are others opinions on this subject, when I play either my Fritz or CM6000
I mostly play 2/0 and not only find it fun, but also find that it helps quicken
up my thought process, so that at tourney times my calculating is quicker
therefore giving me more depth and lines to look at.

Other views?
