Hi Gerd,
thank you for your motivating words. it seems that i am to sensitive at the
moment. i had a bad day. it is absolutely ok and good that tord, uri and ryan
and of course other programmers "defend" fabien if there is an wrong claim. i
only wanted to say, that such people definitely not represent my opinion if they
are talking bad about fabien or fruit. and if it is important for some people to
know who is the better programmer, than i can only say that there is no doubt
about it that fabien and everybody who build his own engine from the scratch, is
the much better programmer than i am. believe me or not but i envy you and every
other author for their great work.
my critic is only that some statements which where written in the forum, give
the impression, that it is so simple to improve fruit. for example there are
only 47 lines of new code, he invented nothing new.....
these statements are not false, but i tried much more than 47 lines of code. i
tried a lot of more things. but all the other lines of code i have deleted
because the havenĀ“t improved the playing strength. of course there is no
comparison between the time you spent for your engine development and my tries
in improving fruit. but writting the 47 lines of code was not done in 2 hours.

i wish you all the best.

Thomas
