Subject: Internet Advanced Chess Server

Dear friends,

I am surprised that none of the chess server on the
Internet provide a facility to play advanced chess games.
Lets face it, computers are here to stay and the best we can do
is use them (as it is the case in oficial correspondence chess).
Besides, we as humans always are prone to make mistakes
even if your name is ..<put here your choice>.. computers might
help here and human intervention makes the difference when
things come to ratings, performance, etc..

I am also surprised that the "promoter" of this kind
of playing, Mr. GM Kasparov, does not have any such
facility on his web page. (Commercial support is almost
garanteed from software companies and computer makers)
Also, the fact that Internet is the best place to
organize such events needs no arguments: nobody would
like to deal with 300 computers in one single building
(stadiums aside).

Any comments are welcome,

Elmer Valderrama
