Is announced on the Gambit-Soft page (I ordered it Immediately:)) Curiously, I could find no update on the Oxford page as yet. "Chess System Tal II WIN arrived Chess System Tal II (Windows 95/98/NT) by Oxford Softworks arrived here today. All pre-orders will be airmailed today. A few weeks ago programmer Chris Whittington wrote: CSTal2 interface is both auto232 and Internet Chess Server (ICC and FICs etc) compatible. This means you can play any appropriate combination of end-user, cst engine, auto232 engine, ICC opponent, other chess program on LAN etc. For example, you can hang an auto232 engine (Hiarcs, Genius, Mchess etc.) on one end, and the ICC on the other, thus getting automated ICC server play for any of these auto232 engines. The CSTal2 engine can kibitz at the same time + all the usual chess server features are available. It does work. We tested it :). Further details will follow the next few days. Can you tell me something about the tutorials in the program, and just your overall opinions are most welcome. And, does anyone know if this new program has the DOS version included and/or all the features of the previous one? Thanks, mrslug - the inkompetent chess software addict!
