Ah - the good old days. A couple of computer chess friends and myself used to set up tournaments involving dedicated chess computers in a side room at chess tournament venues. There was always a good audience and it used to be a real blast. I even typed up tournament booklets afterwards, photocopied and sold them! Wish I'd kept copies myself :-( We also set up annual man v machine matches involving the top players in NZ (2300-2400 level players) for a number of years. The machines always won - close originally, but with increasing margins each year as you'd expect. Looking forward to more of your stories Jeroen! :-) Regards, Graham.
