It seems obvious to me that "book learning" is not working. Why would a program continue to play the same losing opening if book learning is working? I thought book learning was introduced to prevent exactly that scenario. As I said, I saw this behavior with Fritz about 3or 4 years ago and when I reported it, it was fixed quickly. Jim
