Every Collector's sooner or later is faced with a soul searching ..Moral dilemma this occurs when a very rare computer is offered to the collector but at a price totally over the top and unreasonable i for one will never pay what i consider to be a ridiculous price for a computer..no matter what the computer is and no matter how badly i want it of course everyones definition of "ridiculous" is different however when faced with this situation the collector has to struggle with the question.. ..should the collector notify other collectors he is friendly with so that perhaps they can consider acquiring the computer or just let the computer disappear quietly into the night or even worse..perhaps even wind up in the collection of a fierce competitor? never an easy decision over the course of my entire collecting career i was faced with this question perhaps a dozen times what did i wind up doing?? it depended on who was making me the offer if the seller was someone that knows other top collectors..it meant he would be offering it to everyone and their grandmother ..so i alerted as many fellow collectors as i could(in an effort to thwart the seller from selling to the hated competitor) if the seller was someone that i knew did not know many other collectors (this happens more then you would think) i just let the offer die in the hope i would be contacted again with a lower price sometimes it works..sometimes not am i proud of how i handle these heart rendering issues?? not really..but hey..i am only human No Saint Here Regards Steve
