I agree with what you say but the way I see it is that if people are willing to
pay to be beta testers let them.  The only thing that bothers me about all the
Rybka hype is that it dominates the forum and any attempts at a meaningful
programming dissuasion get pushed off the first page by all the Rybka posts.  I
guess that is at least partly why many of the programmers have moved to the
winboard forum.
