Let me say that most of what you said is a 100% pile of crap.

I did _not_ "choose to become a moderator to get the power to delete posts." To
say so is insulting, and shows incredible ignorance. Moderators are a necessity
or the forum won't work. And yes, they might even make a mistake now and then.
But "don't toss rocks in glass houses" comes to mind... or "let ye who is
without guilt cast the first stone." or ...

I was nominated to be a moderator for the Nth time. And about 1/3 of the time,
I accept, about 2/3 of the time, I choose to let others "gain the experience".
But I am old enough and wise enough to realize that it is a necessity, and that
as one of the founders of this group, it is my responsibility to help when
possible. So I chose to allow my name to be entered on the ballot for this
session.

I was then elected to be a moderator. I did not "choose to become moderator".
I did not "choose to be elected". I didn't "choose" anything other than to do
what is required, should a majority think I should once again be a moderator.

So please get off that crap-pile and look around. I would _much_ prefer to
never be a moderator again. But if everybody adopts that course, CCC will
die... If you don't like it here, leave. If you don't like the moderators and
the actions they take, run yourself and then walk in our shoes for a while, and
let us make the ridiculous statements about your motives...

It makes it really worthwhile to consider simply not returning here again. I
have far better things to do than listen to such crap and then waste time
responding to it...

"choose to become moderators" indeed...
