I am in the process of ordering the multi processor version of Shredder and Fritz for the Mac. Question, how can I have Shredder 9 play another computer chess program like Fritz or Hydra on the same multi processor computer (a Mac G5 Quad)? Is this possible? Which programs might be the best opponents for this particular purpose? Is there another program that will "manage" the two or more programs playing each other on the same computer? How can I read up on this kind of thing for challenging and improving my own computer chess program while I have access to only one multi processor computer?
