Hi Peter, > In publishing my email on the website and finger notes of the CCT8 TD > account, I have had some very interesting inquiries/proposals for next year. > There are some titled players on ICC that would like to participate. Bad idea? I have a third option: FANTASTIC idea ! But you should ask them if they are aware of the fact that we play 9 games in two days. If they would like any other setup, ask them what they propose - we could do that at another weekend additionally. They should also know that most of us programmers are doing it as a hobby, so it might be not possible to have a longer event of a week or several weekends. (But I would spent A LOT spare time to play longer games against some titled players... :) Another thing which was discussed quite often, but did never happen: what about a programmers-tourney. Would be a lot of fun I bet. ;) Vincent of course must play without his queen... :))) Greets, Thomas
