Bad idea? > >Peter Though I would love to see strong humans play in CCT , I dont think it will work out well. The reason I participate is to have fun at the event - most of the programmers are present and almost none of them do the thinking (their engines do hopefully ;-) ). When strong players participate - we will have issues of fatigue , availability , number of games (we have like nine 50 3 games in 2 days : a bit too much for a human to handle imo) , etc. It would be better to have another tourny which is more relaxed (time scheduled wise) where humans meet chess engines. My vote would be , leave cct as it is - it works , so why mess it up :-) Mridul
