Fabien has not worked on Fruit since December 2005 due to other obligations he has. I hope he will soon continue with the SMP-Implementation which he started autumn last year. I am currently writing my diploma thesis and have no time either. Ryan is busy on improving Fruit together with some stout-hearted testers and volunteered to participate in CCT8. In fact he is currently the driving force behind the development of Fruit but I hope not alone since at least I respond to his emails in time. Fruit never intended to be a competition engine like Crafty and Zappa so we participate in the tournements with olympic spirit. As for Torino we'll see. regards Joachim
