I.e. no 64bit OS or program will run. OK, I should have been more precise. With "64-bit program" I meant a chess program which is written to utilize 64-bit integers extensively. My program is not. If you have a 64-bit CPU you can compile a 64-bit executable of my program, but it isn't likely to run noticably faster than a 32-bit executable on the same CPU. Tord
