Thanks in advance! The exact position with the same possibilities for the side to move need to be repeated 3 times. For example If in the first time white could castle and in the third repetition white could not castle then it is not a draw. The side to move can ask for a draw only before (s)he makes the move. (S)he can ask for a draw in one of the 2 cases: 1)The move of the opponent caused a third repetition 2)(S)he can play a move that cause a third repetition. In this case (S)he should write the move that cause the third repetition and ask for a draw. Uri
