I think that these are stupid rules because you cannot force people to obey these rules. In th championship of Israel there is no rule against computers or against getting advice from humans. Junior4.6 won one game with black in the 1/2 final of the championship of Israel( Junior chose all the moves at 5 hours per move except the first 10 moves in 5 hours per move on P200MMX) I copied the first 2 moves from a game of Junior4.5 in WMCC(it won Fritz5 by 1.e4 e5 Nf3 Nc6) I used Genius3 with contempt=0.25 to choose moves 3-10 I did not trust the opening book of the computer and I gave it hours to calculate but I found in other games that this was a mistake because sometimes the computer suggested bad moves in the opening even after a long time and sometimes the computer got positions that it did not understand so I could not trust it. Junior5 beta version won another game against another opponent that was late in registering the tournament This time the opening moves were from Junior's book and I decided to trust the book. I was afraid to use only the computer in other games because of my bad choice of opening but after seeing the opponent's moves I think that a computer without help could also do good results. I got 5 out of 6 in this tournament(2 wins of the computers and 2 wins and 2 draws of me with the help of the computer) and I am going to play in the 3/4 final of the championship of israel. I believe that the computer has a good chance to get 4.5 out of 6(enough to play in the final). I do not believe that it has a chance to win the final. Uri
