not pretending to offend nobody but I just don*t understand how is it possible that the next match with GM Yermolinsky will be played in a so slow machine. that is stupid. that doesn*t make any favor to Hiarcs. so if all you want to see is a hiarcs7 resign, then go ahead and let him run in a garbage G3 233 machine. I insist the program shoud be played on a minimum K6 -2 450 mhz with 128 ram, but the ideal configuration machine would be a Pentium III 550 MHZ with 256 ram, then we could be able to see the program power in its best capacity amd really know what top programs are able to do against human masters. For people who have a minimum understanding about these facts, there is a big difference between G3 233 and a PENTIUM III 550. A really big difference. I surely tell you. Remember, GM Yermolinsky is not a beginner, he is really a true great master. don*t tell me that the sponsor doesn*t have enough money to buy or leasing a GOOD MACHINE, if this is the reason, CALL ME (506-224.7758) I will offer him mine for nothing(PENTIUM III 550 MHZ, 512 RAM ). I only pretend that the match will be a FAIR MATCH between two strongs opponents. Keep on mind the good play that rebel 10 made against GM Anand in a two Tournaments games last year was run in a k6-2 450 MHZ. the first one was a clear drawn. INCREDIBE for a chess programm against THE SECOND GREAT PLAYER IN THE WORLD. The second one REBEL had big opportunities to win but ANAND answered with a manifiscent move Be6 !! This move is not reached by any GrandMaster, I think that many GM would have lost this game. It was without doubt an excellent performance of the program. I would like that this message will be read by the sponsor and so he will change his mind and select a better machine. It*s the only way that Hiarcs 7 could obtain credibility. HIARCS7 is a great program and has an excellent positional knowlege and a incredible endgame. For me, the best program in the world up to now. thank you. ps: if the sponsor doesnt care about the machine configuration, I think Mark Uniacke should.
