Fritz532, Junior5, Hiarcs7, >Hiarcs6, Crafty, Rebel10, Genius6, Chess tiger, and other programs cant do it !. FEN 8/pR4pk/1b6/2p5/N1p5/8/PP1r2PP/6K1 b - - 0 1 It is not truth that crafty cannot solve it. It can solve it at tournament time control and find Rxb2. I also remeber that Fritz5(16 bit) with big hash tables could solve it after more than an hour on my pentium200MMX How do you know that Chess tiger cannot solve it? The latest version of chesstiger is not commercial. It is not a good example for a position that computers cannot solve. It is not an easy position for chess programs but a position that chess programs can solve. Uri
