I think this subject already was placed here, but is
always good to remember this notice:
Text found in the site "Ajedrez e Informática", date 03-march,
http://www.geocities.com/~ajeinteg/jag/informat.htm

"After that the famous Deep Blue win a match against Kasparov
already makes long time, it's hanging a revenge that it seems
IBM is not made use to carry through, appeared without doubt a
new computer rival: Debby-1. The new monster is a computer based
on "XB-70 Valkyrie" of AMERICAN COMPUTER'S company. It is commented
that will function with a Fritz similar software, and that it
could arrives to be 10.000 times faster than Deep Blue.
As it can appreciate, it seems that the reign of Deep Blue has
this days counted. When to exist more detailed information it could be
found in this same page. Debby-1 is also called Debby-1 Kenobe".

Paulo Soares, from Brazil.
