Some chess programs run a little better in AMD chips.

For example Rebel10 , run 9% faster in AMD machines than an equal Intel Pentium.

AMD processor is more faster than Intel for example,

AMD k6-2 300    equivalent to  Intel Pentium II 333 MHZ.
