He is a very fast player, he plays *humans* at 3 0 and wins almost every game. Perhaps I would be surprised if he played a match where he was genuinely and unquestionably motivated, but evidence suggests that he would score well under 50% against the computers at fast blitz, which means that his rating would settle in at something under theirs. There are tactics that people and computer operators can use to inflate their ratings in various categories. It doesn't make much sense to draw significant conclusions from the ICC rating list. bruce bruce
