I'm a fan of computer chess and, like most here, I don't like the huge mess that is happening here too. RGCC was a mess an here we have had some fun for a while. Now it seems corrupted here to. How to handle the situation? 1st --- I would first verify all the ID of the people here: how? Well, the hell, when I got my password I had to give an e-mail address. Are all e-mail addresses equal? Not at all: there are e-mail one can get an there is no way to check who is behind, others were you can check. So I say: stop who has a non trustable e-mail address, period. This is the only way to avoid mess. Of course this requires a good definition of "trustable e-mail", about which there should be a dicussion. Every person here should receive a new password to override the former. 2nd --- Get rid of the moderators. People can be in or out, nothing more. 3rd --- start-over again my 2c Franz p.s. I know that this will most probably not happen, but if this is the case, and if the situation will not change in other ways, then all we have lost, and only Rolf will remain laughing behind our shoulders. And that makes me sad.
