Mark, I have an all singing , all dancing Pentium now but now but not too long ago I was using a 486 with ChessMaster 5000. I was very happy with the response times of the user interface and it played pretty well. I would estimate somewhere around 2200-2300. In fact, I played a small 6 game active match between the cosmos (Travel Champion 2100)which is rated somewhere in the 2300's for active play and the CM5000 on the 486 crushed 6-0! Later...DAvid
