The only motive *Kasparov* has to play this darned WC thing is to make money. Prestige alone would *not* do it. And of course there is *nothing* wrong with making money if it is done legally and morally; there is nothing wrong with negotiating the biggest prize fund possible. It is not wrong for Kasp, for Anand, for Shirov, Kamsky, or for anyone else. I see no problem with Kamsky coming out to try to increase his bank account. If I could do it, I would too.
