If you take a look at chess software reviews, you'll find a review of Hiarcs 7
by Claudio Bollini where he runs an interesting test. The results of the test
clearly indicate that Hiarcs 7 and Rebel 10 are the best positional players.
This is probably where Eran got his information. The test also rates tactical
stratedgy as well. Fritz 5.32 did well there as well as Chessmaster 6000.
