Kasparov learned to adopt Karpovs technical style in the long match they had. He can change style from attacker to a more positional style as needed. I do not think that Shirov has that versatility ( I want my spellchecker! ) The only player I can see that has that is Anand. So if anyone can, Anand can beat Kasparov! Torstein
