I don't have the numbers in front of me, but if you check, you'll find that Kramnik has a *much* better record against Kasparov then either Shirov or Anand. In fact, Shirov's and Anand's lifetime records against GK are downright abysmal. I am especially certain that Garry doesn't fear Shirov, who he once referred to as a "talented amateur"... My opinion - Garry is playing the best chess of his life, and he has a mountain of matchplay experience under his belt. I think none of them would have a decent chance of winning a long match against Kasparov. --Peter
