Well I suppose I never really think of the US as being the power of world chess. So I suppose to me winning tournaments in the US or being champion of Harvard cup is really going to make me pay attention. Until these people win the big international tournaments and play more than a draw against people Like Kasparov. Well they are going to remain unheard of to me. And Apart from seeing a little Asian guy throwing up his hands when Deep Blue beat Kasparov in those series of weak games by Kasparov. Then I would not have know anything more about who was on the deep blue team :-)
