What I do know is that some people like to make fun & be sarcastic, (for instance about the way I misspelled rarely), rather than add anything constructive to a post or thread. I know that if my name was rountinely misspelled, I wouldn't like it very much, (especially if I was a well know chess grandmaster, who's name is spelled correctly in each months issue of Chess Life, and numerous other chess publications). And Rohde did tell me that he hates chess newsgroups. He doesn't really know about this one, but I doubt his opinion would be any different about it, based on what goes on here. And that is why I asked about why his name is so often misspelled. But judging by the sad, routine, & glib fun poking even about this, I give up posting about this. I may well give up posting completely, and then I'll give up reading post, (looking for the really good stuff), because I'm so tired of reading all the random stuff first. No wonder so few want to be moderator's... mrslug - the chess software addict! On June 04, 1999 at 00:09:05, Harald Faber wrote: >On June 03, 1999 at 22:58:17, Lawrence S.
