Tell me this. My music is known quite well, I'm told, in Russia (former USSR). I even heard a piece of mine being used as the theme for a Moscow TV newsreel program (Gorbachev era). Needless to say, I've never received a penny, cent or rouble from that part of the world -- it's unheard of, and well-known to be so. So, would I rather the people in Russia didn't know my music, because I didn't get paid for it? You tell me. As 'thinking people', we must learn to be flexible in our thoughts -- not bending anything to fit, but realizing that each case is different... Francis
