My present email is certainly not free, but for home_use I have a free one. I find it handy, as I can use it through most firewalls, is independent of what I do, and even independent of my current ISP. My current ISP is often the cheapest I can get at the time. It doesn't seem so easy to me to prove to someone somewhere else in the world who I am. Before I vote on moderators, I would like to see more about the practical side of this issue. By the way, I am not against having to prove who I am. I simply wonder how it is done. Perhaps I missed it, so in that case could you point me to the right documents? Thanks.
