Tania, sorry to have to say this but your test is flawed. Fritz is being
unfairly treated here. According to Fritz's manual, the optimum Hash-table
available should be 2 X Processor speed X seconds per move = HT. In this case,
with your processor and time control, Fritz should have 119.888 or let's round
it out to 120 megs of Hash-tables.
This is not very important to Hiarcs because it doesn't depend on the Hash-table
size in the same way Fritz does. However, to be fair, I know that Hiarcs 7's
optimum HT size is 64 megs. The difference from what you're using for Hiarcs is
insignificant when compared to what Fritz needs. Unfortunately, this could have
a serious affect on the way Fritz performs.
