The players are paired in their group, as every one has an even number of players. For accelerated pairings, the field is divided in two categories, say A and B, where it is assumed that the A players are better than the B players. For the second round four groups are formed (instead of three): first the players of category A with one point, then the category B players with one point together with the cateory A players with half point (it is expected that the B players will have a hard time and will not win many games here), in the third group the A players with zero points together with the B players with half point, and at last the B players with zero points. But in this case it is clear they are using standard pairings, not accelerated. José.
